When must the MCS certificate be registered for a solar or battery install?

Short answer

No later than 10 working days after commissioning, the MCS contractor registers the installation on the MCS Installation Database and generates the MCS certificate, then sends it to the customer for the handover pack. Registration is only allowed once the system is fully installed and commissioned, and each registration carries a per-installation fee.
