What the site gives you

Plain-English information about heat pumps, solar and batteries, and calculators that give ranges based on your answers and published figures. Each figure shows its source and the date it was checked. An estimate is not a quote: only a survey by an engineer can price your home.

Independence

Solarpunk Homes is independent and not manufacturer-endorsed. Error-code meanings come from manufacturers’ own documentation; always follow the manual for your model and call an engineer for anything beyond the safe checks we describe.

Engineers and quotes

Engineers listed on the site are independent businesses. When you request a quote, any work you agree is a contract between you and that engineer, not with Solarpunk Homes.

Your account

Keep access to your email address, as sign-in codes are sent there. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time from your account settings.
