What are the rules for PV DC connectors and cable entries?

Short answer

Use matched DC connector pairs from the same product family and crimp them with the correct tools and procedure. MCS flags wrong tools as a major cause of connector failures and fires. Keep connectors out of standing water, add drip loops, bring cables into enclosures from below with one cable per gland, and maintain the IP rating.
