Why does my SolarEdge inverter keep switching off with 'AC voltage too high' on sunny days?
Short answer
Codes such as 2x1F, 2x21 or 18x1F mean the grid voltage measured at the inverter is above the UK limit it has been set to. On sunny middays, export can push local voltage up. The inverter reconnects by itself once voltage falls. If it happens often, the installer should check cable voltage rise and ask the DNO to investigate.
