What does SolarEdge error 3x9A mean?
Short answer
In SolarEdge's own January 2026 error list, 3x9A means the inverter has locked itself, either manually or because a safety feature tripped. It is not the isolation-fault code (that is 2x19 or 18x86 on single-phase models). Your installer needs to read the event log, find the cause, then switch it off and on to reconnect.

- 3x92-3x9E, 3x6A, 3x100, 3x10E, 3x114 and 3x138 share the same 'device locked' text.
- Many third-party websites call 3x9A an isolation fault. SolarEdge's official list does not say that; the conflict is recorded.
- Do not keep resetting it. Ask why it locked first.
