What does SolarEdge error 3x6E (Energy Meter comm error) mean?

Short answer

3x6E means the inverter has lost communication with the SolarEdge Energy Meter. Without that meter, it cannot measure consumption, enforce an export limit or control a Home Battery correctly. Solar may still generate. The installer should check the meter's RS485 wiring and settings. The related code 3x6D points to meter CT wiring.
