Can I get free solar panels in Wales?
Short answer
Possibly through Nest, the Welsh Government's free home upgrade scheme for low-income owner-occupiers and private tenants. Homes normally need an EPC of E or lower, or D with certain health conditions, plus qualifying benefits or low income. Solar panels can be part of the package, but assessors decide which measures you receive.
