What does a Victron SmartSolar 'Err' code mean?
Short answer
Victron SmartSolar and BlueSolar chargers show 'Err' numbers in VictronConnect and VRM. Many reset themselves: Err 1 battery hot, Err 2 battery voltage high, Err 17 charger overheated, Err 33 PV over-voltage. Others, such as Err 21, 28 and 119, need the charger disconnected, reset or replaced by your installer. Checked 24 September 2026.
