What does 'Grid Lost Fault' mean on my Fox ESS inverter?
Short answer
It means the Fox ESS inverter can no longer see mains power, usually because of a power cut or because its AC isolator or consumer-unit breaker is off or has tripped. Fox's manual (H1 G2 V1.0.8, checked 24 September 2026) says it reconnects automatically when the grid returns. Repeated breaker trips need your installer.
