What does Sofar ID56 PvIsoFault mean?
Short answer
SOFAR ID56 PvIsoFault (ID042 IsoFault on HYD-EP models) means insulation resistance between the solar panels and earth is too low, usually from damaged cable, water in connectors or a faulty panel. The inverter won't export until it's fixed. Don't touch the panels or DC cables; your installer will test each string and repair the short.
