Do Tigo TS4 optimisers need the CCA and internet to work, and does it affect the warranty?
Short answer
Tigo optimisers begin optimising as soon as they are connected, but Tigo requires full deployment with a Cloud Connect Advanced (CCA) and Tigo Access Point (TAP). Its warranty is 25 years with that monitoring kit and only 5 years without. Rapid shutdown also only activates after discovery through the CCA.
