What labels are needed on a solar PV and battery installation?

Short answer

Fit dual-supply warning notices at the origin, meter, consumer unit and isolators, label the DC cables and junction boxes, and display the system schematic and emergency shutdown procedure. Batteries need the IET EESS Code of Practice Appendix C labels, with Figures C.2 and C.5 always. Plug-in kits come with a consumer-unit label that must be fitted.
