What is 'State 2 excursion' on a Solis inverter?
Short answer
It is a UK export-limitation alarm under ENA G100: exported current exceeded the configured backflow limit. G100 requires a manual reset, which Solis puts under Settings > EPM Setting > Built-in EPM Setting > G100V2 Alarm Clear (S6 string manual V1.1, 04/2024, checked 24 September 2026). Your installer should reset it and find why the limit was breached.
