What should a good solar quote include?

Short answer

A clear itemised price; panel, inverter and battery make and model with datasheets; a roof layout drawing; an MCS performance estimate in kWh a year with shading assumptions; scaffold, bird-proofing and electrical upgrades; DNO application; warranties with lengths; deposit and payment terms; and the insurance-backed guarantee provider.
