What paperwork should I keep for my solar and battery system?

Short answer

Keep the MCS certificate, electrical installation certificate, DNO G98 or G99 notification, building-control or competent-person notice, product datasheets with serial numbers, warranties, the insurance-backed guarantee, the performance estimate, and FiT or SEG statements. Buyers, insurers, warranty claims and export suppliers all ask for these.
