Should I get bird protection with solar panels?
Short answer
If pigeons or gulls are common locally, mesh around the panel edges is usually worth fitting at installation while the scaffold is up. MCS requires installers to advise on protection from wildlife. Clip-on mesh avoids drilling the panels, which could affect the warranty.
