What it means

The manual says: Compressor Hardware Overcurrent.

Part involved: compressor, inverter/driver PCB, power supply.

When it shows: Compressor hardware over current. If it occurs 4 times in anhour, confirm the failure.Once confirmed. Instantaneous overcurrent of hardware on the rectifier side of the compressor.

Is it safe?

The heat pump stops until the fault clears or is reset.

Resetting itself: yes (until locked).

Manual reset: Locks out after repeated occurrences (see manual remark); engineer reset after the cause is fixed.

What you can check

• Check the heat pump's breaker/isolator at the consumer unit is on; do not open any casing.
