What does STORAGE_ERROR_BMS_COM_FAIL mean on my GivEnergy battery?

It means the inverter has lost contact with the battery's management system (BMS), so the battery stops charging and discharging. First check that the battery is switched on and the green light is lit. You can then restart the system the way GivEnergy's guide describes. If the alarm comes back, the installer should check the BMS cable and its polarity.
