What does a SigenStor alarm starting 1xxx mean?
Short answer
In Sigenergy's Alarm List (version 05, October 2025), codes 1001–1031 come from the SigenStor inverter or controller. The 2xxx codes are for the battery, 3xxx for the Gateway, 4xxx for the whole system and 5xxx for EV chargers. Grid codes 1010–1015 clear on their own. What does this mean?
The sub-ID (ID1, ID2 and so on) shown with the code tells you the exact cause. Many of the manual's fixes turn the DC and AC switches off and on. Leave those steps to your installer. This batch adds 2101–2111 and 2201–2207 (battery cluster and modules), 2301–2304 (junction box), 3017–3019 (Gateway door and frame breakers) and 4006 (protection-relay input).
What should I do first?
Record the code and current battery state before changing settings. Follow only the owner-safe reset steps in the manual.
When do I need an engineer?
Use an installer or manufacturer support route if the fault returns, involves isolation or protection, or the manual does not give an owner reset.
What to do next
If the system is hot, smoking, damaged or making unusual electrical noises, move away from it and follow the manufacturer emergency guidance.
