How do I read a Sigenergy alarm code in the mySigen app?
Short answer
Sigenergy's public Alarm List (version 05, October 2025) uses four-digit codes with sub-IDs. 1xxx are inverter or grid alarms, 2xxx are battery, 3xxx are Energy Gateway, 4xxx are metering and communication, and 5xxx are EV chargers. For most alarms Sigenergy's advice is to report them via mySigen Support > Troubleshooting.

What does this mean?
Many grid alarms (1010-1015) clear automatically when the grid returns. 1010 ID2 'grid power failure lock' needs clearing in the app after checking the site. Safety alarms (1002 insulation, 1005 grounding, 1009 AFCI, 2002, 2006) need the installer.
What should I do first?
Record the code and current battery state before changing settings. Follow only the owner-safe reset steps in the manual.
When do I need an engineer?
Use an installer or manufacturer support route if the fault returns, involves isolation or protection, or the manual does not give an owner reset.
What to do next
If the system is hot, smoking, damaged or making unusual electrical noises, move away from it and follow the manufacturer emergency guidance.
