What do the lights on my SigenStor mean?
Short answer
The SigenStor EC has separate DC, AC, battery and communication lights. Sigenergy's manuals from 2024 say a flashing DC or AC light means a fault on that side, a flashing battery light means some modules have a fault, and a steady fault light means an inverter or all-battery failure. The numeric alarm itself only shows in the mySigen app.

What does this mean?
The communication light off means the unit is not connected to Sigenergy's system. Flashing can mean it is connected to the local app, or the 4G CommMod is short of data. The single-phase Home manual (May 2024) adds that a flashing AC light can mean the backup supply is overloaded. The manuals show the light colours only as icons, so ask your installer to confirm which colour you are seeing.
What should I do first?
Record the code and current battery state before changing settings. Follow only the owner-safe reset steps in the manual.
When do I need an engineer?
Use an installer or manufacturer support route if the fault returns, involves isolation or protection, or the manual does not give an owner reset.
What to do next
If the system is hot, smoking, damaged or making unusual electrical noises, move away from it and follow the manufacturer emergency guidance.
