What do the coloured lights on my GivEnergy All in One or Gateway mean?
Short answer
GivEnergy's UK installation guide says green means normal, flashing green means waiting, yellow means a charging or discharging error (reboot the unit), and red means a fault (contact GivEnergy). Flashing green and red means a firmware update is running. The fault text itself appears only in the GivEnergy portal or app, not on the unit.

What does this mean?
Arrows on the unit show whether power is flowing to or from the grid and the battery. Physically shutting the unit down involves the battery's DC switches, so use the app's restart option or ask your installer.
What should I do first?
Record the code and current battery state before changing settings. Follow only the owner-safe reset steps in the manual.
When do I need an engineer?
Use an installer or manufacturer support route if the fault returns, involves isolation or protection, or the manual does not give an owner reset.
What to do next
