What do Growatt SPH battery errors 500, 502 and 506 mean?
Short answer
On a Growatt SPH hybrid, Error 500 means the inverter has lost communication with the lithium battery's BMS. Error 502 means battery voltage is below 42 V, and Error 506 means the battery circuit is open. Check the battery is on; low-voltage errors often clear after recharging.
