Does the Fox ESS EPS Box show fault codes?
Short answer
No. The EPS BOX-SP manual (V1.0.0) describes a sealed switch box with a built-in meter, breaker and automatic transfer switch, but no lights or fault codes. Any faults show on the connected Evo, KH or H1-G2 inverter as backup or meter faults. It changes over in under 3 seconds, not the Evo's under-4 ms EPS switching.

What does this mean?
It supports 100 A continuous whole-home backup. Above 45 °C in off-grid mode, its output is reduced. A lever inside the switch selects manual or automatic mode. That is for installers only.
What should I do first?
Record the code and current battery state before changing settings. Follow only the owner-safe reset steps in the manual.
When do I need an engineer?
Use an installer or manufacturer support route if the fault returns, involves isolation or protection, or the manual does not give an owner reset.
What to do next
If the system is hot, smoking, damaged or making unusual electrical noises, move away from it and follow the manufacturer emergency guidance.
