Why does my SolaX inverter say BMS Lost (IE 19)?

BMS Lost (IE 19 on G4, 'BMS Lost' on G3) means the inverter has lost communication with the battery's management system, so the battery won't charge or discharge. Check that the battery is switched on and its lights are lit. If the fault doesn't clear, the installer should check the BMS communication cable and the battery type setting.

What does this mean?
BE 01 is the BMS-side external communication error. Cold batteries: IE 106 Bat Temp Low - check battery heating setting.

Record the code and current battery state before changing settings. Follow only the owner-safe reset steps in the manual.
When do I need an engineer?
Use an installer or manufacturer support route if the fault returns, involves isolation or protection, or the manual does not give an owner reset.
