What does W000 'Bat Com Fault' mean on a Lux Power inverter?
Short answer
W000 means the Lux inverter cannot communicate with the battery's management system, so it may stop charging or discharging it. Lux says check the communication cable and that the correct battery brand is selected in the inverter; if it persists contact Lux. What does this mean?
Common causes: wrong battery brand setting, loose/damaged CAN or RS485 cable, cable in the wrong port Battery's own fault light should also be checked (e.g. Pylontech ALM) W003 is the equivalent meter communication fault

Record the code and current battery state before changing settings. Follow only the owner-safe reset steps in the manual.
