What do Solis NO-Battery, CAN Fail and BatName-FAIL mean?
Short answer
They are Solis hybrid battery alarms. NO-Battery means no battery is detected (switched off, breaker tripped or cable fault); CAN Fail means the battery communication link failed; BatName-FAIL means the wrong battery brand is selected. What does this mean?
Some batteries need a manufacturer-specific CAN cable. Also seen on legacy RHI-5G hybrids.

Record the code and current battery state before changing settings. Follow only the owner-safe reset steps in the manual.
When do I need an engineer?
Use an installer or manufacturer support route if the fault returns, involves isolation or protection, or the manual does not give an owner reset.
