What do AlphaESS SMILE-G3 error codes like 100000 or 100027 mean?
Short answer
AlphaESS SMILE-G3 inverters show six-digit codes in the AlphaCloud app: 1000xx codes are faults (grid, PV, battery, output) and 1100xx are alarms. Grid codes 100000-100003 usually clear by themselves when the grid is normal again. Insulation (100007), GFCI (100008) and repeating battery codes need your installer. Checked 24 September 2026.

100000-100003: grid over/under voltage and frequency - auto recovery 100005/100017/100021: PV over-voltage (580 V single-phase limit) - installer 100007 Insulation_fault: possible PV earth fault - installer; leave DC alone

Record the code and current battery state before changing settings. Follow only the owner-safe reset steps in the manual.

Use an installer or manufacturer support route if the fault returns, involves isolation or protection, or the manual does not give an owner reset.
